Priest Ranch / Somerston Vineyards

This vineyard located 10 miles east of the Silverado Trail in Napa Valley, just outside of Chiles and Pope Valley and is planted at elevations of 1000 to 2500 feet above sea level. It is a meticulously managed property primarily planted to both Bourdeaux and Rhone varieties and sells it fruit to many well recognized producers such as Franciscan, Ramey Wine Cellars, Duckhorn, Caymus, Viader, Pahlmeyer, La Sirena and our very own Highflyerwines. Vivio Vineyards

This vineyard is located in northern part of the Sonoma Valley. It is planted on the side of Mount Taylor at approximately 800 feet above sea level. This 12 acre, low vigor site is planted with three clones of Syrah (470, 877 and 174) as well as a small amount of Roussanne, all on 420 rootstock. The vineyard is blessed with cool ocean breezes, light fog and a long growing season that together result in low yields and concentrated fruit.


Starlane Vineyard

This vineyard is located in the very eastern end of the Santa Ynez Valley on the southern slope of Ranger Peak. The vineyards are planted on hillsides that range from 950 to 1550 feet above sea level. The Dierbergs began planting this now prized vineyard in 1996. There are almost 250 acres planted with no less than eighty separate blocks comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petite Verdot , Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah. A myriad of clones and rootstocks within these eighty blocks provide an extremely wide range of fruit characteristics to chose from.


Borra Vineyards

This vineyard is located on the Borra’s Gill Creek Ranch which sits within the Clements Hills sub-appellation of the Lodi Appellation and is nested along the fertile north bank of the Mokelumne River and the High Bluff in many ways resembling France’s Rhone Valley. These 10.3 acres of Viognier were planted in 1999 on 5BB rootstock and grafted to the Geneva clone. The site produces a complex spectrum of flavors from golden apple, apricot, citrus, banana and tropical fruits, finishing with a nectar texture and proportioned flavors of tangerine and apricot.
